Fort Henry Buckskinners is a family oriented, non-profit club located in eastern Idaho. Members are dedicated to learning and living the lifestyle of the early 1800s, the fur trade era of the mountain man. Leather working and historical crafting, primitive fire starting, black powder gun shooting, knife and tomahawk throwing, and traditional archery are just a few of the activities we strive to learn and practice at our annual Rendezvous. This weekly event, held near Rexburg in early June each year, is open to anyone interested to watch or participate. Rendezvous includes traders that sell interesting and useful traditional goods, games and challenges for the entire family, and both primitive and modern camping. Families and guests get a chance to leave behind modern concerns, to see and feel the life of those who came before us.
